NotebookLM & NotebookLM Plus now core to Google Workspace

Google has officially made NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus part of Google Workspace’s core services, meaning they are now included in certain Workspace subscriptions.

They come with enterprise-grade protection and support as other Workspace core services. You can use these tools without buying anything extra, making research and work easier right inside Google Workspace.

What’s new?

NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus are now available in 180+ regions where the Gemini API is supported and currently work with 35+ languages. However, Audio Overviews — one of the tool’s standout features — is currently limited to English.

Your uploads, queries, and AI-generated responses are not used to train models, reviewed by human reviewers, or used for product improvement without permission. Plus, users can only upload files they have permission to access within Workspace.
